Dandi Salt march

To protest against the salt tax imposed by the British, Gandhiji led the Indians in the 400 km Dandi salt march of 1930. Millions of Indians took part in this by making salt from sea water. This was a part of the freedom struggle started by the Indians and received support from all parts of India.
